So, what are you wearing for Halloween? How about one of these:
My BFF Larue is selling off the Project Tudor costumes in an effort to a. rid her home of excessive Tudorness and b. finance an incredibly expensive surgery for her puppy, Layla. Any or all of the Project dresses could be yours (prices available upon request).
Want to finally win that costume contest at work? Want to reenact the naughty scenes from The Tudors (Jonathan Rhys Meyers = YUM)? Want to kick ass at your town’s next Renaissance Festival? Want to be Queen for more than just one day? Then Larue and I have the garb for YOU.
All the six wives’ costumes, King Henry the 8th’s costume, Mary Tudor, and Lady Jane Grey (my personal fave) are for sale. Each outfit includes the dress, the underskirt, the chemise/partlett, the hat, and all the reproduction jewelry. Each outfit is one of a kind and a detailed reproduction of the individual’s portrait. For a side-by-side comparisson, go here.
If you are interested, or know someone who is, contact me either in the Comments or via my email at thecheapchick@gmail.com. All proceeds will go toward Layla’s surgery. Buy garb! Save puppies! Win the adoration of The Cheap Chick and Larue!

I am a customer of this costumer. The quality of her work is amazing. I purchased an Elizabethan court gown from her (not one of these portrait reproductions, but one that we designed together based on some beautiful fabric she found), and it is spectacular. Extremely well made with an attention to detail that is extraordinary. I did make my own jewelry because I have those skills, but one of these Tudor gowns (or the Henry outfit) would be a smashing addition to your costume wardrobe.
Thank you for the testimonial! And thank you, Cheap Chick for the shout-out. If you want to purchase a gown, you can go to this location: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6387988 . I am willing to consider offers as well. Surgery is in 4 weeks and it ain’t cheap, folks!
Thank you!
If we can’t afford the costume/ensemble, could we still make a donation?
