Fast, Frugal, And Food-Related

Welcome to the shortest and most pertinent blog post (to Minnesotans) on the Internet.

Tip Of The Day:  The deets on Fare For All.

Tip For Tomorrow:  Reviews on three new (to me) party foods.

Further Elucidation Of My Cheap Deal:  Today, I am all about Getting To The Point.  Why?  Because time’s a-wasting, and we all have things to do.  So here is the quick and dirty lowdown of what was discussed on the toFox 9 Morning Buzz day.

Fare For All, brought to you by the Emergency Food Shelf Network.  It’s a food share program where fresh produce and frozen meats – along with other pantry staples – are bought in bulk from wholesalers, and the savings are passed directly on to the participants.

I wrote about the program last October here.  And you can go here to sign up, learn more, and see what foods are included in which packages.  They even tell you where you can shop Fare For All once a week in the Twin Cities.  Most important thing to remember?  Fare For All IS for all – it’s open to everyone, regardless of your income level.

If you want to save 30 to 50% on your groceries, please look into Fare For All.  During these tough times, everyone could use a huge break on the necessities – especially around the holidays.

Aaaannnnnnddddd, we’re done!  Fast, yes?  Important stuff, yes?  You now feel better about life in general, and think today is the best day ever, yes?

No?  Oh.  Sorry. Well, gotta run – see ya!
