I didn’t see any bargains I had to have, but I did go to Half Price Books. They were giving away $5 gift cards to the first 100 customers. When I got there at six, over a hundred people were already in line. I didn’t wait. I went home and back to bed. It wasn’t worth five dollars to stand out in the cold.
I managed to get a pair of winter boots for $30. I really really needed them so it was a great deal, however, part of me really wanted to kill myself for even leaving the house.
I avoid the shopping crowds like a plague! Seriously, I had finished most of my shopping already and on Friday I did the online thing and finished up for my husband’s family. I got some great deals and free shipping and best of all, did it in my comfy clothes without having to fight off anyone for a parking place.
Sorry for such an untimely comment.
Nope, I didn’t brave the early-morning BF sale crowds. I had to work. Afterwards, however, I did go to Target for a few “normal” thingies, nothing special. The store I went to wasn’t crazy-crowded, which was nice. I abhor the crazy crowds. The traffic, however, was still a bit nutty, even late afternoon. Talk about needing to drive carefully.
