A frugal snack to tide you over.

Tonight, I promise to post my Weekly Spending Recap for the Thanksgiving Week, plus show you which Eye Candy I’m thankful for… today.  But in the mean time, here are a few treats to get you through the afternoon slump.

First up is one of the coolest sites on the web – Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab.com.  They make and sell fabulous scented oils and other yummy-smelling potions.  Best of all, you can get samples of many BPAL scents, called Imp’s Ears.  According to their site: ‘For standard price general catalogue scents, the imp’s ears are $3.50 each, or six for $19.50. Please remember to list the scents you would like to sample when ordering!’  Plus, they throw in a few Imps for you to try out – for FREE.  Which is BEST.

My favorite thing about BPAL is the description of each scent.  The site reads like a gothic/comic book/cool kids’ handbook.  I like to curl up with my laptop before bed and peruse the different scent descriptions – they’re like poems or stories, all the while describing each smell.  I find that to be DEEPLY cool.
