Mind you, I didn’t say good/stellar/outstanding example, just example. In other word, you’re probably going to learn from my mistakes, rather than triumphs. Ah well, such is life.
Tip Of The Day: It’s Monday, and it’s time to get back to normal around these parts. Therefore, today will be (as it’s supposed to be) my Weekly Spending Recap from last week, and then Eye Candy. This week’s tasty treat is a repeat – but he is sooooo worth looking at twice.
Tip For Tomorrow: You’d think I’d be embarrassed to admit this, but I’m not. I have yet ANOTHER hair care product to recommend – yes, one more entry in the annals of Cheap Chick Approved hair stylers. Lest ye forget, it is all about my hair.
Further Elucidation Of My Cheap Deal: Last week, I (finally) started my Christmas shopping. Granted, I only got a few things, but they add up – which is why I’m trying to spread my spending over the next three weeks. To avoid weekly sticker shock as much as possible. Plus, my family and I are all abiding by the $25-or-less-per-person rule (except for my nephew – Thomas the Train stuff is quite expensive), and I will be hand-making/crafting much of my friends’ gifts. So with any luck, I won’t go broke this holiday season. Whoo. Pie.

Total For The Week: $176.79. This isn’t a bad total for NOW, but just wait until after I go shopping this week. Sigh. Why do the holidays have to cost so freaking much? The biggest bummer – I LOVE buying things for other people. And if I had all the money in the world, I wouldn’t care how much I spent. But I don’t, so I do, so there you go. Ugh – let’s lighten the mood by looking at someone pretty.
Ah. That’s better. Nothing and nobody says HAWT like Robert Downey, Jr. – especially if you’re a child of the 80’s, like me. Need more proof? Here is in his next film, Sherlock Holmes:
Yeah. I am so seeing this movie on opening night. Need even more proof of his beauty? Here he is in bed:
Um. Will you excuse me? I think I need to stick my head in the freezer for awhile…

Oh you don’t need to be a child of the 80′s to appreciate Mr. RDJr. Cannot WAIT for Sherlock to come out and I believe another Iron Man next year? I was so glad to start seeing him in films again, yummy! Oh, and the last pic has me fanning like it is a hot flash.
Mmmmmm…..you are on a roll with the hot men lately! First the Supernatural guys, and now this? I thought Sherlock was hot just by reading the stories, but now that he has this face and bod? Yum.
I shall attend the movie with you. I will bring ice packs to keep us cool, & I know a theater with a bar!.
Your head is what you need to stick into the freezer? Wasn’t the body part I was thinking that needed to be cooled down. I just adore the trailers that show him tied up in a bed with the pillow strategically placed. I’m going to wish for a pause button while I’m in the theater.
Oh…..my……goodness!!!! LOVE that last picture. I’ll take an 11×14″ framed copy for Christmas, please.
I am also soooo going to see his new movie.
Funny you should mention Sally’s, as I just went there today. It’s fab-yoo-luss! The employees are super helpful and nice. I’d totally buy gifts there, besides my own assorted beauty supplies.
I love Sally’s own line of hair products (Beyond the Zone). It’s on par with salon line products but soooo much less spendy.
