…and a whole lotta that.
I have all sorts of random pieces of frugally awesomeness to share with you folks. Hopefully, they will make your weekend cheaper, better and fun..er. Whatever. Let’s start with a wee bit of online shopping, shall we? Check out this hi-freakin-larious T-shirt shop my buddy Bionic Beauty alerted me to – SnorgTees. I so very much want this shirt:

I like the idea of a vengeful elephant, don’t you? Moving on. They also have hoodies, shirts for the kids, and best of all – sales t-shirts! T-shirts on sale! WHAT COULD BE BETTER? Someone should really buy me this one:

Because it’s Duran Duran. And funny. Also funny is the name of my new favorite blog/foodie web site/source of tasty recipes – Noble Pig. I have a feeling poor Piglet’s future nickname is going to be Noble Pig, and I’m going to be the one to give it to him. However, he can take solace in the fact that he’s named after an awesome site, brought to the Empire’s attention by the death-defying antics of our Stunt Girl. She risked life and limb to surf the Net and find this treasure trove of recipes and cooking how-to’s. Best of all, it’s free for the masses… as long as the masses have an Internet connection and a computer.
Another site I love, because it is a. full of cute clothing that are b. often on sale and c. they keep improving the site to make it more and more user-friendly is Forever 21. Even if you’re all, “Boooo! Their clothes are too small and don’t fit a real woman’s body!” you’ll still find killer accessories and shoes on this handy dandy web site. I love their sales tab at the top (makes for cheap and easy browsing) and their new extended size line, which should help quiet the “too small” naysayers.
Apropos of nothing we’re discussing, did you know you could Fan The Cheap Chick on Facebook? When you’re on Facebook, just type in The Cheap Chick in the search box and poof! There I am. What’s in it for you? Every time I post a new post, that post will automatically post to your FB home page (POST!). Which eliminates the, “Oh GAH, did she or didn’t she post yet? HOW WILL I KNOW???” fears I know all of you must suffer from. Or not. Either way, it’s free, easy to do, and harms no one.
As a reward for Fanning me, and because I like your face, here’s a face I’m sure you’ll like, too:

Who is he? Why, OF COURSE that’s Vivek Oberoi from Shootout at Lokhandwala… yeah, I had no idea who he was either. All I know is this: I was sitting at my fave Indian restaurant – Nala Pak – noshing on their most awesome lunch bufett – $9.36 including tax – when all of a sudden, there he was. No, not in real life. On the TV screen, dancing around in the video to the song Ganpat, which presumably is from the movie Shootout. Upon seeing this fine young man, I did what I always do – I Googled him. And look what I found! More pictures:

Isn’t he adorable? And he can dance, too. Check out the Ganpat video below. Oh sure, I don’t have a clue as to what he’s singing, but does it matter? That man can totally shake his grove thang.

I’ve never bought anything at Forever 21. Luckily (sort of), I am an accessory addict, and can usually find something good at a store/on a web site that doesn’t carry my size of clothing (plus size). I’ll have to keep Forever 21’s site in mind. I’m intrigued by hearing that they have a new extended size line.
