I don’t know about you, but I’m having an AWESOME Friday. Here is why:
1. Whilst packing my stuff up today in Fox 9′s green room, I got career advice from Louie Anderson. Who just may be the nicest celeb in the existance of ever. And he had great market/advertising idea – sell Cheap Chick keychains (or something else you can carry easily around in your purse) on my site. And when you flash said Cheap Chick thingie, you get 20% off at store X. Kind of like a rewards card, but not a card – instead something shiny. Because you know that’s how I roll. Would you purchase a $2 doo-hicky if you could get 20% (or some discount) at say, Saver’s? What do you guys think? Share your two cents below in the Comments. Thanks!
2. Whilst driving to Hancock Fabric in Woodbury, I called the Colleen and the Boys show on My Talk 107.1. And, well, talked. On air. To Colleen. About shopping at thrift/consignment stores. Anyway, what was we said isn’t the point – the point is the result of the conversation. I’m going shopping with Colleen Kruse! And we’re going to film our trip and post it online! So you, too, can watch us enjoy the GLORY that is thrifting. I can’t WAIT *happydances*.
3. Whilst shopping at Hancock Fabric, I found this tunic sweater:

And it only cost $3.99 (it was 70% off, aka FREE). I do so love a good striped top. Also, see that purple tartan over there on the left? That will be made into a belly-dancing skirt for my Scottish belly-dancing costume* I plan to wear at Costume Con in May. I got 4 yards at 40%, thanks to one of my BFF Larue’s many coupons.
*Yes, I said Scottish belly dancer. What? Think outside the box, people.
4. Fug Madness is upon us! If you’ve never played the Go Fug Yourself Girl’s version of basketball’s March Madness (you vote on pairs of celebs to see who is the mostly fugly of the two), you haven’t lived. Get over there, toot sweet, lest ye miss the first round.
And that is why today has been a good day. With an luck, it will just keep getting better. What are you liking about Friday?

I love the key chain idea, especially if it gets a discount at a good thrift store!
The shiny key chain’s an OK idea but I’d rather have a Cheap Chick calendar with a new pic of the chick every month and May should have shot of the Scottish belly-dancing costume.
Sorry…
That’s how I roll.
Keychain idea is a good one – not for me since I’m not local.
Keychains, *YES*.
I don’t even need a discount or any fringe bennie for having it (but THANKS, if that happens to come about).
I love Collen and The Boys! They’re mucho fun to listen to. But dangnabbit, I missed the show today, sorry. Have a blast shopping with Colleen!!
