Whilst exploring the vast reaches of the Internet, I dug up a few frugal treasures for our Cheap Chick Empire. Enjoy!
1. AMI Clubwear. I have been seeing AMI’s goods all over fashion mags like People’s monthly Style Editions and Lucky Magazine for months. Finally, I decided to check them out for my own self. While the site is not 100% suitable for work (or for people over the age of 30), they do have great prices and some items that can be worked into a normal, 30-something’s wardrobe. Just be prepared to have your eyeballs molested by the color pink while you surf their site.
2. Tulle Clothing. Fashion bloggers I love (Kasmire, Audi, et. al.)all have one thing in common – besides their innate ability to layer, and their love of thrifting – they all own clothing from Tulle. And I can see why. The site offers killer sales, cute clothes, and an atractive, easy-to-use layout. It’s a great place to unwind after a tough day at the salt mines.
3. Max Wigs. Do you like costuming? Do you like dressing up for Halloween? Do you secretly want to channel your inner Cher? Do you simply want better hair – hair you can take off at the end of the day? Then you need Max Wigs. My BFF Larue (costumer extraordinaire) told me about this wiggy site a few weeks ago, and I am in love with all their discount wigs. Cheap hair! What could be better? Seriously, though, I am ordering one or two goodies for this year’s costume season.
4. Urban Threads. For you crafty crafters out there, here’s a site recommendation by one of my crafty friends (thanks, Radio Renee, for the tip!). You can order any manner of embroidery patterns and designs and digital stock art, all on this too-cool-for-school site who’s logo is a Jolly Roger done up with a needle and thread. Nice.
5. This site right here. Not to toot my own horn – and actually, I’m not, I’m tooting your horns for you – but we’ve got some great thrift going on at the Empire. Click on over to Group Participation link and see what your fellow frugalistas are talking about. (Gratuitous self-promotion moment – don’t forget to Fan me on Facebook or follow me on Twitter at thecheapchickMN! And thank you.)

I always forget about the other parts of your site, Erin. Thanks for the reminder.
