Hot Time, Summer In The Cities
Thrifty things are afoot in MSP! Check it out:
Nu Look Consignment Store in Minneapolis is holding their Huge Summer Sale. It starts Thursday, July 8th and all items in the store will be 50%-75% off! Men’s, Women’s, Maternity, kids, shoes and accessories (they also have gorgeous jewelry). The sale may start July 8th but everything will stay marked down until it sells. Just after the sale, Nu Look will be taking Fall items for consignment.
Can’t wait to shop and save? They also have 10% off full price items now until July 8th. Store hours are Monday-Friday 9-8:30, Saturday 10-6, and Sunday 12-5.
If you live in or near the TC, and have never experienced a Nu Look sale? Mark this on your calendar and GO. And when you’re finished shopping ‘til you are dropping, swing by Broder’s Cucina Italiana for some delish and affordable Italian take-out. Hot or cold paninis are just $8.50, as is their lasagna with a bread and a side salad.
In other TC news, this summer we will be blessed with even more inexpensive fooding opportunities, via trucks. That’s right, we’re FINALLY getting food trucks in the Cities. What’s a food truck. Well, it’s a truck that serves food. Kind of self-explanatory, no? In other words, it is street food, much like you’d find at the State Fair, only less deep-frying and serving-on-sticks.
For the 411 on our newly available food truckin’, visit Mobile Cravings for an updated list of foodstuffs and locations thereof. There isn’t a ton listed yet, but keep your eyes and ears peeled for tasty treats on the streets.
