This Just In!

I love getting emails from readers and viewers just like you.  And speaking of you, the lovely Janet sent me the deets on another thrift shop down the road:

“Have you ever checked out Bethesda Thrift Shop in Minnetonka, their address is 4749 Country Road 101 Westwind Plaza(corner of Hwy 7 and 101)?  (No, I haven’t, but they sound promising!)

They are having their 20th Anniversary this week, Feb. 21-24 and offering some good deals.  Thursday and Friday 50% off clothes and shoes and on Sat. and Sunday $1.00 on clothes and shoes.  (Sale?  I LOVE SALES!!!)

Thanks for considering this, keep up the good work, Janet.”  (Awww!  Thanks Janet!  Will do)
Okay peeps!  Be sure to leave your thrift shop recs in the Comments below, and share the thrifting love.

    The Cheap Chick’s Favorite Tea

Now that the weather is starting to chill down, it’s time to indulge in warm winter drinks.  And to me?  That means it’s tea time!  My favorite teas are sold by local tea blender and connoisseur, Mrs. Kelly’s Tea.  You’ll find them online here:

But if you want to see and smell the tea before you buy it, check out the Minneapolis Farmer’s Market on Saturdays.  Mr. Kelly himself (hi Brian!) is there to help you pick the tea that best suits your taste buds.  Plus?  FREE SAMPLES!

And remember, Mrs. Kelly’s is loose leaf.  That means you will need proper tea prep accoutrements – which is okay.  We are frugal, but we aren’t HEATHENS.
