The Cheap Chick’s Favorite Tea

Now that the weather is starting to chill down, it’s time to indulge in warm winter drinks.  And to me?  That means it’s tea time!  My favorite teas are sold by local tea blender and connoisseur, Mrs. Kelly’s Tea.  You’ll find them online here: http://mrskellystea.com/

But if you want to see and smell the tea before you buy it, check out the Minneapolis Farmer’s Market on Saturdays.  Mr. Kelly himself (hi Brian!) is there to help you pick the tea that best suits your taste buds.  Plus?  FREE SAMPLES!

And remember, Mrs. Kelly’s is loose leaf.  That means you will need proper tea prep accoutrements – which is okay.  We are frugal, but we aren’t HEATHENS.

    Where I Thrift

Everyone has their favorite thrift stores, right?  Okay, you do if you love thrifting as much as I do!  Here are the stores where I enjoy popping tags:

Saver’s in Bloomington – close proximity to Prestigious West Bloomington and Edina equals excellent, higher end thrift scores.  Remember, if you donate?  You receive a 20% off coupon you can use right away!

Saver’s in Columbia Heights – it’s the nearest thrift store to my house, and they have the NICEST staff of any Saver’s in the TC, in my humble opinion.

ARC Value Village – For me, ARC is hit or miss.  I either score BIG, or leave empty-handed.  Either way, I always enjoy perusing this tidy, friendly shop.
